Attendance 283 total participants:
- 101 RNs
- 182 students
Suggestions at the end of the day:
- Have sign in areas for the speakers and poster presenters.
- Have mail outs for abstracts.
- Have guidelines for poster presenters.
- Have confirmation of acceptance for those presenting.
- Consider break-out sessions for simultaneous presentations.
- Consider 2 keynote speakers-one Am and one PM.
Informal report of finances related to the attendees. Formal report to follow. Rates of interest from banks are low d/t economic conditions. The treasurer is seeking the highest interest.
Finance Report-recommendation to provide more structure to the research and reimbursement to attendees of STTI special events. These will be posted on the Beta Zeta Large web page. On a yearly basis, three $1000.00 awards will be available based upon the chapter's financial stability and following the web-based criteria.

Channel 40 interviewed the president elect-Cynthia Jacelon as well as two of the poster presenters.
The food drive for Providence Ministries was a complete success. A large amount of food will be filling their shelves to meet the needs of the poor.
Continued food collection activities are being considered for the fall program and Scholarship Day 2009.
There were numerous press releases submitted by Jean Walachy to the secretary for future reference.
Permanent cabinet for chapter archiving is on hold until AIC and Elms have input on this matter.
