HerbFest an annual celebration of medicinal and aromatic plants presented by students in the UMass Plant & Soil Sciences course, Herbs, Spices, and Medicinal Plants. In preparation for HerbFest, each student in the class creates a display featuring a way in which plants can be used. Visitors to HerbFest will have the chance to sample foods and beverages made with herbs and spices, smell aromatherapy formulas, see fabrics dyed with plant extracts, learn how to make herbal remedies, and perhaps even receive a henna tattoo.
