The course will introduce you to hypertext design theories as well as basic principles of web design. Upon successful completion of this course you will be familiar with HTML, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Adobe Photoshop CS, Microsoft PowerPoint and (time permitting) Macromedia Flash.
The major and ongoing project for the course will be an online portfolio that demonstrates your skills as a web designer. Class time will alternate between laboratory work on some part of the portfolio and discussing and critiquing website designs.
