Dr. Richard Komp, President of the Maine Solar Energy Association, will discuss his work in Nicaragua promoting the use of passive and active solar applications for cooking and lighting. He will also answer any questions from people interested in installing affordable and practical applications of solar energy in the Pioneer Valley.

Chris Mason, Director of Education at Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, will present slides and briefly discuss renewable energy installations he viewed during a recent trip to Holland.

Tour: This forum will be preceded by a short tour of solar installations in Amherst beginning at NOON in the courtyard behind the Library.
