Making the road as we walk
CIRCLE is about

Created through the vision of people from refugee and immigrant communities--the leaders, students, youth, and staff explore how the Cambodian, Vietnamese, Russian-speaking, and Tibetan communities of western Massachusetts can actively work for change. All of us build the road to our future together, to "make the road as we walk." By working and learning together, we develop trusting relationships and are enriched by each other's cultures, experiences, and knowledge.

CIRCLE is about

It is about passion for working for change, for activism in our communities, for hope for the future. Despite the struggles and challenges all of us face along the way, we love working in the community. We love learning about ways we can get along and live together in peace despite different cultures and different experiences. We love discovering new ways of knowing, relating, and being. This passion for people and life in the community inspired us to start this newsletter. It is a gesture of giving back to the people and the community. There are not enough words to thank one and all for what they have given us at CIRCLE over the years.

CIRCLE is about

The things we feel and do in our community work make us alive. We have put together so many events and activities, and afterwards reflected on what we have learned. Sharing these experiences through our voices and our stories brings life to what we do. What we have done through our activities and our reflections are now part of us and transform our lives.
