A partnership between CIRCLE and the UMass Extension Service 4-H project, Project Crossroads will bring Latino and African American youth into the Giving SEED project. Staff from UMass Extension and CIRCLE have already met to develop a working relationship and become acquainted with each other's programs. Both Ginny Green extension staff and Andrea Ayvazian a CIRCLE graduate student are apprentice facilitators in Educ 329 to witness the CIRCLE's collective leadership model and philosophy of "learning by doing." This semester, we have additional links to the these communities in the several Latino and African American students in Educ 329. Eventually the project will link youth from many cultures in interethnic
youth groups.
