		Sally Habana-Hafner, Director
				Sally is a faculty member of the Center for International Education at the School of Education, University of Massachusetts /Amherst. She is also Director of the Center for Organizational and Community Development, and coordinates the activities of the CIRCLE project at Umass Amherst. For over 20 years, she has directed statewide projects in community development, interorganizational partnerships, citizen participation, and leadership training. She teaches courses on community education and development; conducts cross-cultural training for groups and organizations; and writes culturally-specific publications, particularly relevant to issues on refugee and immigrant empowerment. Born in the Philippines, she is fluent in English and Pilipino.
