Sally,Cole, Vachel, Shekar, and Michael with former staff Janna Shadduck
On March 3-4, CIRCLE team presented a collective paper "Action Research and the Development of Cross-Cultural Models of Leadership" at the 21st Annual Ethnography in Education Research Forum at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. The paper was focused on collective inquiry, ethnography, critical pedagogy, and participatory action research as related to the model emerging from the experiences with immigrant and refugee youth in Western Massachusetts. Vachel Miller, discussant/moderator, provided an overview and philosophy of CIRCLE as well as summarized key points of the presentation. Click below for abstract of each paper:
