06: The Human Interface: Access, Function, and Interpretation

Each visual form, unless hidden in a closet, will be seen and read. What is purpose? What is functionality? How do we determine human value in the usable visual form as it relates to human need, access, and interpretation? How does evaluation and testing during intermediate creative stages help to answer some of these questions? What is a prototype, focus group, critique, forum, and revision?Does the creative process occure in stages? Evaluating new materials and methods in creating for human need is seen here as metamorphosis rather than a construct or rationale.
