6/30/04 1:29 PM: well, this is it, sports fans...last game of the season, and what a great season it was...i'd like to thank all the players - you were a great team, and you all play baseball for the right reason - to have fun! thanks also to the parents for supporting your kids game after game...special thanks to Coach Mike Chesworth, and Coach Larry Pruner who kept the faith throughout the season, and thanks to all others who helped ump, coach bases, backup catch, pitch batting practice etc...etc. - you know who you are, so i won't risk leaving anyone out by attempting to list names... great season, all...see you again on the ballfield...meanwhile, i'm off to start coaching in the Pee-Wee Division tonight, so i'll miss the last game :-(, but i will send a parting gift to all the players...have a great game! Go Dodgers!!!
