These are 300 DPI scans of the assembling charts. They're kind of big for the average browser window: many are somewhere around 2000 x 3000 pixels. They were done at 300 DPI because that's the maximum optical resolution of the scanner I used and it's also a common printer resolution. In theory, if you print these at 300 DPI you'll have drawings the same size as the originals.
These are 1 bit per pixel images which will look somewhat like a bad FAX. This was done to allow maximum resolution while keeping file sizes down. The 14 original scans from which these GIFs were made take up 188 megabytes as truecolor compressed TIFFs, instead of the 1.1 megs these take. If you find some critical part you can't read let me know and I'll email you back something better or fix what's on line.
