Accessories

copy stand
Yashica Copy Stand
This is a stand for duplicating charts, photographs, drawings or the like at very close range, accurately and effectively.   Fix the camera side arm, adjusting to the scale indicating the photographing area on the upright arm.
If the copy stand is positioned on a high surface, the use of the Yashica Right-Angle Viewfinder is recommended.
microscope adapter
Yashica Microscope Adapter
Exclusive adapter for microphotography.   It is set between the camera and the microscope.   Because it is provided with a screw it can be easily attached and repositioned.   This is a useful adapter for microphotography in the medical, biological or in any other scientific field.
auto extension bellows
Yashica Auto Extension Bellows
Bellows attachment for extreme close-ups and sequence close-up work or macrophotography.   It enables use of the automatic diaphram of the lens in general close-up photography.   Moreover, focusing mechanism capable of moving the whole bellows facilitates inching of shooting distance and secures precise focusing.
macro stand
Yashica Macro Stand
This stand is used in conjunction with the auto extension bellows for effective macrophotography of small subjects such as insects, flowers, postage stamps, coins or small machine parts.   Place the subject on the disk and fix it with the clamps.   Rotate the disk to make shooting at the desired position.   Shooting method is the same as the auto extension bellows.
extension bellows II
Yashica Extension Bellows Model II
For close-ups and macrophotography.   This attachment is easily extendable and manifests its true worth in close range photography where it is desired to change the lens-to-object continuously, or when photographing micro samples.
slide copier
Yashica Slide Copier
This is a convenient adapter for duplicating slides.   It is attached to the tip of the Yashica Bellows.   Place a slide or B&W negative in the copier.   Direct the camera to the light source and determine the exposure in the same manner as in conventional shooting.   What you must do now is just to depress the shutter.   Slides can be duplicated in any desired number.
auto extension tubes
Yashica Auto Extension Tube Set
This ring set is necessary for duplication or shooting at close range.   One set consists of three rings of 11mm, 18mm and 36mm, each providing use of the automatic diaphram of the lens.   These rings are set between the camera body and the lens.   Affords magnification of 0.22x to 1.38
extension tubes
Yashica Extension Tube Set
This is an adapter for close-up photography.   It is set between the camera body and the lens.   The combination of four rings provides magnification up to life size and permits a wide range of close-up photography.
close-up lenses
Yashica Close-up Lenses
Lenses suitable for shooting moving subjects such as insects at close range.   All you do is to screw them on the camera lens.   The automatic diaphragm mechanism can be used as is.   Compensation of exposure is not necessary.
grip/tripods
Yashica Grip/Tripods ST-7 and ST-9
This is a grip/tripod manufactured by Bilora, Germany, the famous tripod maker.   It differs from conventional tripods in that it provides chest or wall support to steady the camera when photographing at slow shutter speeds.   Small in size, light in weight and excellent in stability.
magnifier
Yashica Magnifier
When mounted over the viewfinder eyepiece of your Yashica single-lens reflex camera, the Yashica Magnifier provides a high magnification of the image at the center of the viewing screen, thus affording critical focusing.
right-angle
Yashica Right-angle Viewfinder
Because it affords viewing and focusing from the camera top, it is very convenient for chest-level shooting or unusual shots.   It can also be used in conjunction with the copy stand or for microphotography.
MS-20DX Strobe
Yashica MS-20DX Strobe
This strobe is extremely compact and easy to use.   It can be either connected directly to a hot-shoe or used with a PC cord.   Power is provided by two readily accessible and inexpensive batteries.   A replacement is good for exposing about two 20 exposure films.   The guide number is 20 in meters or 66 in feet with ASA 100 film.   This handy strobe can be connected or removed in a matter of seconds and is so lightweight, only 150 grams, that it can be easily carried.
lens shade
Yashica Lens Shade
It serves to ward off extraneous light and ensures crisp results.   Slip-on type: 57mm/54mm
eye-cup
Eye-Cup
It is mounted on the eyepiece of the finder to cut off distracting backlight and to assure clear, comfortable viewing.

Filters

polarizing filter
Polarizing Filter
The polarizing filter can be used for either black and white or color photography.   It cuts off harmful reflection, thus preventing flares or hazy results and ensuring superb color reproduction.   It is especially effective for distant landscape shots and for bringing out the colors of cherry blossoms or autumn foliage against dark sky.   The use of this filter will add immeasurably to your photographic pleasure.

polarizing filter For special effects, color compensation or better contrasts.   Made of high quality optical glass, Yashica screw-in type filters are available for color and B&W film, in sizes to fit f/1.2, f/1.4 (55mm), f/1.7 and f/2 (52mm) lenses.
For Color Photography
Name Color Factor Effects
1A Light Pink 1X Haze-cut filter for color film.   Improves natural color balance.   Good for lens protection, no exposure compensation.
80B Dark Blue 2X Color conversion filter.   Creates good color pictures using daylight type color film under artificial light except blue lamp or electronic flash.
81B Brown 1.2X Eliminates bluish tone in cloudy or rainy day and creates natural color.
82A Blue 1.4X Controls excessive yellow or red in early morning or late afternoon.
85 Orange 1.5X Color conversion filter.   Creates good color using Tungsten type color film under sunlight.
FLY-D Lilac 2X Eliminates the greenish and bluish tinge and reproduces natural skin tone when photographing with Daylight type film under fluorescent light.   Avoid use of other filters in combination.

For B&W and Color Photography
ND2 Gray 2X Decreases light amount taken into lens without changing color balance.   Used when scene is too bright and beyond exposure setting of camera.   Good for color film as well.
ND4 4X

For B&W Photography
UV Transparent 1X Absorbs ultra-violet ray and creates clearer tone.   Good for lens protection since it requires no exposure compensation.
Y1 Yellow 1.5X Absorbs ultra-violet ray and to a certain extent blue.   Suitable for landscape, including mountain and seaside.
Y2 2X
O2 Orange 4X For particular emphasis of cloud or red subjects.   Adds details to distant landscape.   Good for autumn foliage.
R1 Red 8X Creates higher contrast.   For infa-red or aerial photography.   Blue becomes darker wheras red and green are reproduced brighter.
B Blue 2X For special effects.   Controls excessive brightness of orange or red color under artificial lighting.
G0 Green 2X Absorbs blue, violet and red.   Adds natural skin tone to portraiture.
G1 4X
