The Canadian analysis includes the provincial economies, major industries and government finances. TD Economics focuses on government economic policies, inflation, interest rates and currencies in each of the global regions it scrutinizes. TD Economics releases economic commentaries and publications on a regular basis.
Information Available: Analysis is broken down into categories of frequent, monthly and in-depth. Forecasts are available as Quarterly Economic Forecasts and Provincial Economies. Information mostly helpful for forecasting and commentaries on economic performance.

Information Available: Classic Economic Models page allows you to access both micro and macroeconomic models. Click on the concept and it will bring you to a page full of information, interactive visuals and links to similar models. Very straightforward and easy to follow. Great organization. Even shows movies for the models. Introduction to models and background information available.
EconoMagic www.economagic.com Organization: This page is meant to be a comprehensive site of free, easily available economic time series data useful for economic research, in particular economic forecasting. This site was started in 1996 to help students in an Applied Forecasting class. The idea was to give students easy access to large amounts of data, and to be able to quickly get charts of that data.
Information Available: This site does not have much information of its own but is a good starting point in finding other resources on specific topics. Lists several websites to aid in research including many government agencies and bureaus. |
