Course Expectations

1. Mandatory attendance. The University maintains a policy about missing classes and how it can affect your grade in this course. An excused absence requires written notification about illness or other reason. You must notify Professor Katch immediately of any extenuating circumstances, and must provide written notification on the day you return to the University. Sorry, no exceptions.

2. Assignments. There are no makeups. If you don't turn in an assignment on the due date, you will not receive credit (the only valid exemption requires written notification as listed in item 1 above).

3. Obtain a valid student account from room 105 Lederle.

Final exam date to be announced. Class meets on the assigned date.

5. Outside of class practice. You are expected to devote approximately 6 hours per week outside of class to assignments, on-hands computer use, work on your final project.
