Supiichi wo happyou shimasho
¥ A long awaited and anticipated event where students of the Five College community studying the Japanese language can showcase their growing fluency.
¥ The competition is divided into four levels of proficiency determined by the students' year of study.
¥ The speeches will be evaluated by three prestigious judges: Ohta-san, President of NEC; Tabata Sensei, Master of Karate and owner of Gyuuhama restaurant in Boston; Nagaoka Sensei, loved and adored Japanese teacher at Mt. Holyoke College.
¥ Rare and exotic prizes to be awarded. Prizes include Honor, dinner for two at a local Japanese restaurant, Pocky, and extra credit (ask your sensei).
