Noh Acting Class
Through John Farrell of the Maine-based Figures of Speech puppet theatre who was spending six months in Japan studying puppet carving techniques, I was able to observe a Noh acting class in which he was enrolled. The class was given in English by an American, who is in fact a full-fledged member of a Noh troupe that performed at UMASS in the fall of 2002.
