    Assignment
    Analyze the case study and and respond to the given questions/statements.
    Directions
    Read the selected scenario, then analyze the situation and respond to the statements/questions that follow.  Demonstrate an informed perspective by making explicit connections to the course content as presented in class and the readings (class notes and course packet).  Follow the guidelines for the presentation of written work. 

    Due Date
    Monday, December 5 (this is a change from Friday, December 2).

    Case Study
    Dee Fendant records all her orchestra’s concerts, which always include copyrighted music.  Afterward, she usually makes copies of the recording, which she sells to the students for the cost of the disks.
        
    Questions

    1. Discuss the ethical and/or legal issues of the case (make explicit connections to the related law).

    2. Describe how the teacher might effectively address the situation.

    3. Explain why you believe your approach would be effective and appropriate (make explicit connections to our class discussion, class notes, and course resource readings).

    Assessment and Grading
    This assignment will be assessed and graded using the following criteria: Knowledge, Understanding, Work Quality, Work Process (see General Assessment Rubrics).
