The University of Massachusetts Libraries Home Page
Especially useful is the link "Databases and Research Guides" to "Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe," an enormous database that places the full text of six thousand U.S. newspapers online, daily. An especially well-designed research site.

The online electonic bookstore. It is a commercial site; nonetheless, the page devoted to any given book features a wealth of information about that book--publishing history, editorial reviews and, in some cases, interviews with the author.

book reviews
