We are

Event Consultant
Needed at Center for Student Development:
The Event Consultant
serves as a liaison between RSO Leaders and CSD staff and assists in the
planning of their events. Responsibilities for this position are as follows: 1)
Under the supervision of the Graduate Assistant for student organization events
and resources assists RSO leaders in preparing paperwork for event development.
Contacts students to make appoints with advisor. As events are registered
ascertains whether a meeting with and Event Coordinator is necessary. Completes
paperwork for assigned events, meeting with RSOs when necessary. Reviews and
advises RSOs on event budgets. Confirms accuracy of all event forms with an
advisor before they are sent out. 2) Upholds all policies and
procedures for RSO event planning as outlined in the SR Manual and the Event
Management Manual. 3) Maintains event computer and paper files following a
prescribed system for event development and management; enters data in computer
files. 4) Serves as primary

Security
Monitor (Residence Hall Security):
Residence
Hall Security Monitors – RHS is seeking dynamic students to work as Security
Monitors. Incumbents in this position provide security at all 45 Residence
Halls on campus by confirming resident’s identification and registering their
guests. Monitors are also responsible for reporting safety concerns, assisting
Residence Life staff in enforcing Housing & University policies, and
notifying emergency services as needed. No previous security experience is
necessary; however, we are seeking energetic, outgoing people who enjoy working
in a dynamic environment working with people. This is a not a spectator
position! Applicants must be students at UMass-Amherst campus, be in good
academic standing; have a clean criminal and judicial records and commit to
working at least three weekend shifts per month (until3AM) plus on weekday
shift per week. Most monitors average 15-25hrs per week. This is a high
competitive position with excellent starting pay of $8.50/hr; opportunity for
advancement, as well as semi-annual reviews for performance based on financial
incentives.

organic plantings around our building. Candidate should be experienced and informed
about gardening and able to work independently. Ideally, you will work with
some of our students, teaching them about the plants and engaging them in the
process. Plantings are not extensive at present but there is room to grow.

Art Teacher – Needed –
Seeking teacher to lead art
workshops for teenagers 1 afternoon per week, either Tuesday or Thursday. The
workshops are for 2-3hrs, plus prep time. Freestanding workshops are ideal,
though short series are OK, too. Type of art taught is your choice – develop
entire workshop yourself. Focus on studio work; but could occasionally lead a
workshop in art history… We don’t have tons of materials, but happy to work

The Outreach
assistant’s position would help to organize build and maintain an email

NPP’s media coverage and activists’’ use of NNP materials in order to better
ascertain how NPP’s message is communicated and to what effect. This position

Priorities Project has a large online database with extensive information on
federal spending and socio-economic needs. Research assistants locate and
compile data to update the database, assists in the production of reports, and
adds to graphs, quizzes and factoids on the website. Position is for

Town
of Bernardston Highway Department – Assistant:
