YouthRAP Garden 1998 Using a participatory design approach, students from an undergraduate planting design class worked with young people from YouthRAP to design a garden to be located near a playing area for marbles. UPP Co-Directors continued the project with construction during the summer. The garden is located in the courtyard area of a block in South Holyoke, surrounded by apartments owned by a community development corporation, Nueva Esperanza.
